TEA PRODUCTS DEPEND ON THE DIFFERENT SOLAR TERMS

Our teas & flavoring of these teas are depend on the different solar terms.
We use the lunar calendar and we can be sure of a full moon on the 15th day of each month. The different Solar Terms ( determined by lunar calendar) transmitted through generations, the element has profoundly influenced Baiyue tribe’s way of thinking and code of conduct. Upon a specific solar term, we spontaneously arrange farming, harvesting, spiritual ritual and festival occasions. Thereby the different Solar Terms we harvest of different tea products

SPRING

We harvest of fairy, dragon and snow shan tea buds to make White Silver Needle, Peony, and Yellow Teas

AUTUMN: We harvest snow shan tea buds to make Trà Ống Lam (Fermented tea in bamboo tube)

WINTER

While spring harvest obviously leans towards more floral flavors, winter teas harvested from October through November have a distinct sweetness, the tea leaves harvested during this unique season are the sweetest of the year, due to the low temperature and short sunshine in winter, the growth of tea leaves is very slow, so that the tea leaves accumulate rich amino acids and store many natural nutrients needed in the leaves to strengthen growth through difficult weather conditions. These teas are called chồi cuối vụ, or “winter sprouts,” less bitter, and the aroma is more delicate.
